Australia's largest free Christmas concert, Woolworths Carols in the Domain will be held on 22 December 2012
and with this year marking the 30th anniversary of the popular event, a star studded gala of impressive performers
are expected to take to the stage as part of the celebrations.
Co-Executive Producer, Shauna Kane from activeTV is looking forward to marking this huge milestone.
"We are very proud to be celebrating 30 years and it is only fitting that we commemorate in the appropriate fashion with a big event, big stars and big celebrations."
"As always we will be revealing plenty of surprises in the lead up to the event, however this year you can expect them to be better than ever," continued Shauna.
The 2012 Woolworths Carols in the Domain event proudly presented by Airwick, is expected to attract a legion of loyal fans who wish to be a part of history paying tribute to 30 iconic years of celebrating Christmas.
"This is a year not to be missed and I trust that we will see all our regular carols fans as well as some new faces joining us to be a part of the milestone event," added Shauna.
With the line-up of performers yet to be revealed, the suspense is building as to who will step out onto the stage to take part in this extra special Christmas event.
Aside from breathtaking performances, fans will also be able to celebrate the festive season with the carnival kicking off from midday and pre-show entertainment from 3pm.
For those who are unable to catch the action live at Woolworths Carols in the Domain, the Seven Network will broadcast the event live from 8:30pm.
"As always the Seven Network will deliver the carols spectacular into homes across Australia and in the true spirit of Christmas, The Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network will be the recipient of funds gained through the sale of our official candlebags," concluded Shauna.
